Local government reorganisation
The government withdrew the Hampshire reorganisation decision on 7 September 2026 and announced a rapid review. Older council pages still describe the previous merger timetable. The regional combined authority is a separate institution. Existing Southampton service-reporting routes remain the starting point for local problems.
